Here We Go!

I admit, I am not the most tech-savvy girl out there, but if I can figure out how to set up and keep a blog going, I will consider myself an accomplished woman!! And as a very good friend of mine said on her blog, 'I can't decide if blogging is a good way to keep in touch or just another way to waste my time on the web. But either way, here we go.' But, she did have a wonderful quote on a why an attempt at one might not be so crazy:

President Gordon B. Hinckley: 'You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of these meaningful, significant things. Some of them may be funny. Some may be of significance only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience.'

I have found that President Hinckley's words ring true in my own life. I've always enjoyed reading back on journals kept from High School and College. So, maybe I'll find this way of recording thoughts and memories just as fulfilling. We shall see! At least I get to show off the kids every once and a while. And so, here we go!

It is awful that we never have time to talk on the phone but I can comment on your blog! I know I always tell you this, but you have the cutest kids.

Welcome to blogging, Jen! I haven't been as good at keeping up as I should but hopefully once the move is over, I will have more time.

Miss you guys!

Hi Troy and Jen! Time flies! Gretchen guided me to your blog! Your family is beautiful! You sound like world travelers! We are doing great. The kids grow way too fast, but it's fun. They are busy with lacrosse, football, horses, soccer, and everything else life brings! Troy tell your parents I said Hi. See that picture of your dad on your blog just makes me smile. He was always so enjoyable to be around!
